SUPPORTIVE MEET UPS + CREATIVE WORKSHOPS FOR FREELANCERS
Running your own small business can feel really isolating at times - holding yourself accountable, keeping yourself motivated, trying not to eat all of the biscuits in one go... It's especially hard if you've left a busy workplace behind to go it alone, or you're juggling your family's needs on top of it all.
That's why as well as offering one-to-one mentoring, I run an online community and (when we're not on lockdown!) I host meet ups, women's circles and workshops for freelancers and the self-employed.
Whether you've been your own boss for years, or you've only just started drawing your dreams out into reality, I create events that are warm, relaxed and welcoming to all.
Introverted and nervous of chatting to new people? Yep, me too! That's why I think up ways to keep conversation flowing, to keep you relaxed, and why I keep groups small.
I hope to meet you at the next one!
"It was the most positive workshop I've been to, and a wonderful way to spend a morning. I came away with so many thoughts and ideas, and lots of motivation to make positive changes in my business.
After just a couple of weeks I've already completed some long overdue tasks and I'm really excited for what comes next. I'd absolutely recommend the workshop to others, it was wonderful."

KIND WORDS ABOUT PAST EVENTS
“I had such an amazing time on the workshop - Jen made me feel very at ease and her passion and knowledge were really inspiring! Would thoroughly recommend one of her events.”
- AMY FORD, STATIONERY DESIGNER -
“I would definitely recommend a Silly Heart workshop to anyone who feels a bit scared of networking and stuck about their business and life plans. I met a lovely bunch of people all of whom were incredibly generous with their advice. Thanks for organising a great morning!”
- HANNAH COWIE, SEWIST + BLOGGER -
“I didn’t know what to expect and really enjoyed myself. Jen’s love and enthusiasm oozes out and infects the whole room. In a good way!”
